OUR RECENT PROJECTS
Church Street High Rise Project
At this multi-family high-rise in the heart of downtown Nashville, we were able to help with a number of projects to keep this building in operation and up to modern standards. We performed a thorough power distribution survey and developed a complete set of single line drawings that were up to date with all of the changes that have taken place over the past 30 years. Since we were already opening up every piece of electrical equipment, we went ahead and performed a thermal imaging inspection. We were able to find a few items that needed immediate attention to prevent costly interruption to the daily operations. One item was a 500KVA transformer that fed essential mechanical systems. We were able to source a replacement transformer and get it installed in a single day while maintaining power to the essential mechanical systems via a temporary generator. This replacement required the removal and replacement of a metal door frame and door along with enlarging the existing concrete pad. We also helped out with a mandated meter tagging project to ensure that all of the buildings tenants services were accurately identified for safety and accurate billing. Despite the challenges we faced keeping hundreds of tenants up and running in their properties along with the busy downtown Nashville traffic, we were able to successfully complete this project and ensure that the electrical systems were safe and reliable for many years to come.
Private Academy Project
At this private school located deep in the Brentwood countryside, we were able to help with a fast paced gate security project. We brought power out to (4) remote access gates where license plate recognition technology is being used to grant access. Power was made available with the installation of a central power zone panel that incorporates a built in transformer stepping down the 480 volts to 120/208 to mitigate voltage drop over the long distance pathway to the gates. We were able to provide coordination on this project to allow us to install all of the power, low voltage and security conduits inside of the concrete slabs to avoid non-aesthetically pleasing surface mount conduit. We only had about 1 week to coordinate and plan the work as well as procure all of the materials and equipment and then 1 week to execute the project over a spring break window that was given to us by the facility. With some heads down coordination involving around 5 or so contractors and a hot shot round trip pickup in Atlanta, GA, we were able to finish the project on schedule and make sure that everyone involved had everything they needed to be equally successful.
Official Wings Nashville
It was an honor to be able to help out with this lighting project for the restaurant that serves the best wings in TN. We were able to re-purpose some LED lights by painting and re-building them to light up the storefront as well as provide some accent lighting around the building to add some much needed light to the outdoor courtyard. While we were at it, we seen that they needed an outdoor receptacle to plug in their open sign by the front gate, so we went ahead and incorporated this circuit into the plan. The storefront lights are controlled by a photocell and the courtyard lights are on a digital timer automating the lights just enough for the application.
Diesel Mechanic School
On this project we teamed up with a world-renowned technology integrator to provide a security, card access and CCTV camera system for one of the largest auto-mechanic tech schools in the nation. This project was challenging due to the security package being released very late in the schedule along with being outside of the general contractors scope of work. We had to work with the GC in order to align their efforts with ours while they continued their work gutting and outfitting the entire Amazon warehouse that was being re-purposed. We installed a stand alone fiber network and structured cabling to support the security systems. We installed all of the equipment and devices to provide a system that was ready for initialization. Our technicians were able to program the cameras and provide preliminary camera aiming to reduce the amount of work that would need to take place during the already chaotic process of moving from one building into another and starting a new semester.
Clarksville Data/Call Center
At this call center we have provided a number of services over the past few years. have supported the operations team on providing routine preventative maintenance and thermal imagining. We built a custom lighting control panel when lightning damage took place and lead times would have kept operations down for an extended period of time. We added additional circuits under their data centers raised floor to accommodate server upgrades and more…
